Shakhtar Donestk donates $25 million of Mudryk’s transfer fee, to aid in the Ukraine war,

Rinat Akhmetov, the president of Shakhtar Donestk, gave $25 million to the “Heart of Azovstal” out of the transfer price they earned from Chelsea for Mykhailo Mudryk.

A project called “The Heart of Azovstal” aims to aid Ukrainian families of dead troops.

According to sources, Chelsea and Shakhtar have reached a deal of €100 million ($108.33 million).

The club’s announcement from Shakhtar president Akhmetov stated that the $25 million donation “would be used to fulfil diverse requirements.”

The statement added, “I am allocating $25m [UAH 1 billion] today to help our soldiers, defenders, and their families.”

“The funds will be used to address a variety of needs, including fulfilling specific requests and offering medical, prosthetic, and psychological care.

“A qualified professional will oversee the project to ensure openness.
