At our Kumasi academy, we aspire to find players like Mohammed Kudus. Antonio Michail

Michail Antonio, a forward for West Ham United, has stated his hope that his Kumasi football academy can find future players that are similar to his teammate Mohammed Kudus.

On Sunday, November 10, the 34-year-old Jamaican international landed at Kotoka International Airport in preparation for a brief trip to Ghana.

A devoted West Ham fan club located in Ghana, the Ghanaian Hammers, greeted him with open arms.

Antonio will travel to Bompata, Kumasi, where he is working on a football academy project that aims to develop the next generation of football players.

Antonio lavished Kudus, the 24-year-old midfielder who has dazzled with his performances for both West Ham and the Ghanaian national team, with praise when he spoke to the media upon his arrival.

“Starboy is excellent, to be sure.”

The way he dribbles and scores goals makes him an incredible player, Antonio remarked.

He has high goals for himself, and maybe the program can produce more players with his caliber.

“All we want is to give the boys here a chance to make their Premier League debut.”
