Nana Ama MBrown recalls being deported from the United States in 2001.

Nana Ama McBrown, a media celebrity, has told how she was deported from the United States in 2001.
Nana Ama McBrown recounted a story from before she became a big figure and how she broke into the film industry today.

Nana Ama McBrown said this at her debut as a new ONUA TV presenter earlier today at Media Forecourt. Nana Ama McBrown confessed to Captain Smart during an interview that she was deported from the United States after her uncle adopted her and traveled with her for a “better” future.

“Captain, January is a month I despise because nothing ever goes as planned for me. I’ve never stated anything before, but I’ll say it today to encourage someone. My uncle returned from the United States and met me as a player who had returned from Kwadaso (a suburb of Kumasi).

After that, I went to play table tennis, and when my uncle saw me, he promised to take me abroad. To be honest, I was in America in January, but to cut a long story short, I was deported.”

Although she could not say why she was deported, she did say her relatives shunned her and labeled her the “bad luck” child in the family.

“So I want to tell whoever is listening to me that if your dream is to travel and if things are not going as expected, that is not the end of your life. God has a plan for you because I didn’t know I would become who I am today if it wasn’t for the deportation,”
