Valencia manager Gennaro Gattuso has been fired after only seven months in command.
The Spanish team is presently 14th in LaLiga, having won two of their past seven games, both in the Copa del Rey.
The Spanish club has not won a league game since November 10, and they are only one point above the relegation zone. Yunus Musah, a promising USMNT player, is now without a coach. This year, the center midfielder has been one of the few bright spots for a failing team.
Gattuso has been under fire for some time, and he was seen clashing with the press after Valencia’s La Liga defeat to Real Valladolid on Sunday night.
Gattuso has had a rocky managing career and has now been fired.
